Granite Countertops Routine care: Sealing: Staining: Heat
Resistance: Scratching: Granite countertops are one of the easiest counter top surfaces to take care of. So take care of your countertops and they will be an investment you will be proud to have in your home and a major selling point if you ever decide to move. Granite is a beautiful stone that will last for a very long time perhaps even a lifetime, if cared for correctly. =============================================================== Cabinet Care Congratulation
on your cabinet purchase. Kitchen is always a conversation area and the
busiest traffic area. With new beautiful cabinets, your kitchen will
attract you and your guests want to stay there more. In order to keep
the cabinet beautiful and last longer, a routine care and maintenance
will be required. Upon Installation: Use
a new clean damp (slightly wet) cloth to clean the surface and dry
immediately with another new clean cloth. We recommend using Murphy oil
soap to clean the cabinet door surface. Or you may go to Home Depot or
any hardware store to buy any commercial cleaning polish. Make sure the
polish does not contain silicone, petroleum or wax and follow
manufacturing application for the cabinet. As for the interior of the
cabinet, wipe with another clean cloth and dry immediately. Routine care: To
keep the cabinet in the best shape and beauty, weekly or monthly
cleaning is necessary. For regular cleaning, you could use a damp
(slightly wet) cloth. To remove oil, grease, food residue or spills, we
recommend using Murphy oil soap. Make sure you use a separate cloth for
cabinet cleaning. Do not use your dishcloth or other kitchen cleaning
cloth because remnants (left over) from the dirty cloth such as
detergents and grease can have a harmful effect on natural wood finish.
DO NOT USE any cleaning product which contains bleach, ammonia, citrus
products, organic solvents, harsh detergents or cleansers or self
polishing waxes. Avoid excessive moisture and extremes hot temperature: Extreme
in hot temperature and humidity can cause natural wood to contract and
expand. No draping dishtowels over the sink base door or steaming
coffee or rice maker onto the cabinet surface. Especially living in Arizona, we experience extreme hot and dry temperature. Make sure the kitchen cabinet and vanity are installed for indoor use. Keep the cabinet in room temperature all year long. Minor swelling or warping will happen in the natural wood on the raised door panel. Shelves and framing will also experience the dry temperature effect. Make sure using a damp (slightly wet) cloth to clean the cabinet on a weekly or monthly basis.
